About us

Presently, we are a small group of attorneys (3….count ‘em..3…Pete, Mike and Gary) with some great ideas about marketing our law practices. We know we have great ideas about marketing because we begin each monthly dinner meeting talking about all of the new business we get from our blogs and websites. In fact, we three met over the internet by looking for other attorneys who have blogs.

What makes us unique is that our group of 3 comprises the vast majority of lawyers in Michigan that have blogs. Many other states have a plethora of lawyers who have blogs. Not Michigan..nope….not yet. We aim to change all that.

The importance of blogs.

Blogs are not a thing of the future; they are here and have been for years. Blogs not only influence public opinion, but have been credited for influencing election results. While we are not out to influence presidential election, we are highly interested in driving more clients to our practices through our websites and blogs. By each of us having a blog and having each others’ blog referenced on our own blog rolls, we collectively raise our visibility on the internet and more importantly, on Google.

Where we are going with this concept.

We are expanding the membership of Legally Blawged. We are looking for other lawyers, paralegals and anyone else with an interest in law firm marketing to join our group. We intend to meet once a month for dinner to discuss marketing ideas that have worked and those that have not. At these dinners, we plan to invite guest speakers to discuss marketing and technology ideas to help each of us improve our marketing efforts.
